Benefits of the SEREO twin-rotor floating wind turbine are:
- Natural orientation toward the wind with a specific control law varying rotor pitch and power --> avoiding need for slewing rings
- V-shape structure --> facilitating lifting operations
- Simpler structures and anchoring system which no longer need to work against the turbine orientation (no powered slewing drive)
